Work Period:

The children work in pairs or in groups of thee in the computer lab. They will use one of the two search engines listed to find information on the Internet about their selected topic from the given list. They should then think about how to limit their topic and narrow their search.

Assessment:

Proficient - Students were able to complete a search on their topic successfully using one of the search engines. They were able to limit their search and print some information off of the Internet.

Partially Proficient - Students were able to find their topic on the Internet. They were able to limit their search, but were unable to get finished in the amount of time given.
